Fee Refund Policy for WACE by ICAE

The Indian Council of Academic Education (ICAE) follows a strict no-refund policy for the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) program. Since WACE is a government-recognized qualification administered by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) of Western Australia, all fees paid towards enrollment, registration, tuition, and administrative processes are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  1. Non-Refundable Fees

All payments made towards the WACE program are final and non-refundable, including but not limited to:

    • Application/Registration Fees – Required for processing enrollment.
    • Tuition Fees – Once paid, no refund will be granted.
    • Examination & Assessment Fees – Non-refundable as per WACE guidelines.
    • Administrative Charges – Including documentation, verification, and processing fees.
  2. Reasons for Non-Refundability
    • WACE is an official government-regulated certification – Once a student is enrolled, the fee is submitted to government authorities, and refunds are not permissible.
    • Global Academic Standards – WACE follows strict international education policies, ensuring compliance with government rules.
    • Non-Transferable & Non-Adjustable Fees – Fees cannot be transferred to another student, institution, or academic year.
    • Commitment to Educational Integrity – ICAE and WACE institutions allocate resources based on enrollment; hence, refunds disrupt academic planning.
  3. Important Considerations
    • No Refund for Withdrawal – If a student chooses to withdraw after admission, the fee will not be refunded.
    • No Refund for Visa Rejection – Since WACE is a recognized government qualification, visa outcomes are independent of ICAE and WACE authorities.
    • No Refund for Course Discontinuation – If a student discontinues studies for personal reasons, financial, medical, or other circumstances, the fee remains non-refundable.
    • No Refund for Disciplinary Expulsion – If a student is expelled due to academic misconduct or disciplinary actions, no refund will be granted.
