The Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) Grade X syllabus is designed to prepare students for senior secondary education (Grades 11 & 12) by enhancing their academic knowledge, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving skills. This stage serves as a transition from foundational learning to specialized subjects that align with students’ career aspirations.
The WACE Grade X curriculum strengthens students’ academic foundations and prepares them for specialized studies in Grades XI and XII. By integrating science, mathematics, humanities, arts, and technology, students develop the skills needed for higher education, professional careers, and lifelong learning.
